Beautiful single-ply (one layer) 1957 reproduction pickguard for Fender Stratocaster. The first major-production version of the Fender Stratocaster scratchplate, this is cut from the US 8-hole template from 2mm (0.08") thick white plastic.

Carefully aged with superficial cracking in the right places (the top-edge screw holes were particularly prone to cracking for these pre-CBS parts), playing marks, minor shrinkage and discolouration. Buffed for an accurate cellulose texture.

Cut from the original 1950s eight-hole template this will fit directly onto original vintage guitars as well as more modern '50s Fender American and Mexican reissues.
