This is the original vintage Fender Stratocaster rosewood neck - a nice thick slab of rosewood, a very curvaceous 7.25" fretboard radius and the all-important vintage clay dot markers make this the go-to choice for pre-CBS relic guitars for players who prefer the feel of rosewood to maple. The clay dots were later replaced with pearl dots to reduce cost, as can be seen in our '64 vintage replacement Stratocaster neck but the specifications essentially stayed the same throughout.
