Availability of Goods

At this time all items advertised throughout this website are available on a customer-order basis. We strive to complete and ship purchased items as quickly as possible however there will be occasions where there is some delay in this due to the custom-order nature of the purchase. If the Relic Guitar Studio cannot complete your order your payment will be directly refunded to your payment source and the reasons explained. Relic Guitar Studio accepts no liability for losses as a result of non-completable orders or delays in delivery. All quoted lead times are approximate based on a number of factors at the time of publishing.

Customer Undertakings and Warranties

You warrant that the information given on your order form is complete and accurate. Failure to do so may result in delays or inadvertent cancellation of the order. Items and any associated losses due to the supply of incorrect customer details are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Our parts are designed to be compatible with original vintage Fender and American Fender reissue parts and hardware. We cannot guarantee compatibility with components from other manufacturers or countries of origin (for example: Mexican Fender and some Japanese reissue bridges use a different bridge mounting screw spacing). Mounting point measurements and compatibility diagrams are provided for each product and customers are invited to contact us prior to making a purchase if there is any doubt over compatibility of our products with parts the customer may already own, or is intending to purchase to use with our items. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure suitability of our products for their needs prior to making a purchase. Where compatibility cannot be determined beforehand the customer buys at their own risk.

Payment

The relicguitarstudio.com makes use of PayPal for payment processing. Payment can either be made directly from your own PayPal account, or using debit/credit cards without the need for a PayPal account. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment your order will not be accepted and Relic Guitar Studio will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns

Due to the nature of buying items unseen and online, it can often be difficult to be totally confident in the quality of goods you will receive. Usually custom-ordered items in the UK are exempt from the right to return or refund. However, any customer who isn't absolutely happy with their product is welcome to return it for a full refund (including the original P&P).

We only ask that you:

  • return it to us in the same condition it was shipped in - we won't refund items that have been used, altered, or modified in any way;
  • within seven days of receipt, or five UK working days - whichever is the longer to account for bank holidays);
  • confirm the return with us before you do so that we can expect it and let us know what's wrong.

The item remains the customer's responsibility until it has been safely returned, this includes any return shipping costs, insurance, and/or shipment tracking required to ensure its safe return. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery. Acceptance of a returned item is at the discretion of Relic Guitar Studio where the item is not returned in original condition or outside of the seven day period.

If purchased internationally the customer must ensure that the return parcel is marked as a returned product for refund. Any duty charged by Customs and Exercise upon re-entry to the UK will be the responsibility of the customer and will be deducted from any refund granted (as outlined in the paragraph above). We do not enter Customs disputes on behalf of customers.

Where one or more items from a kit or discounted package is returned, the amount for refund is calculated based on the assertion that the returned item(s) invalidate the customer's eligibility for the discount on the remaining items in the order.

For example: where a guitar kit is purchased, a 10% discount may be applied to the combined cost of all the parts at the time of purchase. If the customer later decides to return any single or multiple parts of the kit but opts to keep others, the customer is no longer eligible for the original 10% kit discount (as the items purchased are no longer a full kit) and therefore the refund will be lower than the returned item's value to take into account the increased prices of the items which remain in the customer's possession. On rare occasions this may result in the refund due amounting to less than the amount paid for the returned item (and thus negating the discount in full). The refund amount will never become a negative amount (where the customer owes further money), but the refund amount under these circumstances would be considered zero. This cancellation of discounts applies to all orders of multiple items where a discount has been applied, and an item from this discounted order has later been returned.

Where a returned item is declined for refund the owner remains responsible for the item and for any costs incurred in returning the item to them. The return of rejected returned items can be made by return shipping but these costs must be paid for in full prior to the item's return and will amount to the original item shipping costs. Rejected returned items which are not reclaimed by their owner within thirty days will be considered abandoned property and disposed of on the customer's behalf.

All refunds will be credited via the same method as the original payment was made within a thirty day period of receiving confirmation of order cancellation, and in the original payment currency (GBP£). The total amount due for refund will never exceed the original purchase amount in GBP£ and does not cover any charges imposed by the customer's creditor upon receiving the returned funds. This guarantee applies to all purchases made on or after the 4th January 2010.
