Desert Sand is one of the very first early-1950s Fender colours and was the original Fender Duo-Sonic colour in the 1950s, later made popular in Baja Telecasters. Often mistaken for Olympic White, Desert Sand is a very rare and unusual colour to find on Stratocasters (although it has sometimes been found as an undercoat on original 1950s and 1960s vintage Stratocasters) and has not been reintroduced aside from a limited fifty-piece edition from Fender.
This body is available directly from us either in two-piece alder or swamp ash (the original 1950s Desert Sand bodies were swamp ash whilst later pre-CBS were alder), with the correct contours and worm route, thin and accurate nitrocellulose finish, and reliced to your requirements.
