Butterscotch Blonde was the Fender colour of the 1950s - both the Broadcasters and Nocasters came exclusively in Butterscotch Blonde and this colour carried on through the naming changes to the Telecaster. Originally offered over swamp ash, the finish also acted as a showcase for the beautiful wood graining beneath although the translucency of the finish has varied greatly as it has aged.
As probably the best-recognised Fender Telecaster finish colour available, we are very pleased to be able to offer vintage-accurate Butterscotch Blonde replacement Telecaster bodies in either bookmatched swamp ash or alder, built to vintage specification, finished in original nitrocellulose and reliced to your specifications to ensure the perfect match for your Broadcaster/Nocaster/Telecaster project.
