About Us
The Relic Guitar Studio™ was born out of a dire need for boutique-quality replacement parts for vintage and reproduction relic guitars here in the UK.
Some of our team have been maintaining, repairing and restoring pre-CBS instruments since before before they were considered 'old', far less the revered and much-sought-after vintage status (and price tag!) that those same 1950s and 1960s guitars now command. This expertise puts us in the perfect position to bring the very best quality reliced guitars and replacement parts available anywhere in the world, to the UK.
Having forged very strong relationships with suppliers, luthiers, and manufacturers from across the globe, we are able to offer these amazing products at very reasonable prices, and certainly of a much better quality than a lot of the "home-made relic" type relic guitars often seen floating around marketplace websites such as eBay or GumTree.
We are the UK's largest Monster Relic dealer, although our parts also come from a variety of other well-respected luthiers and manufacturers: our bodies and necks all come from either Japanese or American sources, often "licensed by Fender" and always ensuring compatibility and quality (although we don't include any of the manufacturers' markings or licensed status on our parts to enhance their vintage authenticity). Much of our replacement hardware either comes directly from Fender/Gibson, or from well-known aftermarket manufacturers such as Gotoh, Monster Relic, and WD Music.

We are currently in the middle of rebuilding our website so not all of the items in our catalogue are on here just yet; still to come over the next few weeks are vintage bakelite and cellulose scratchplates (made from new old stock), original Pat. Pend. steel bridges, 1954 no-line Kluson machineheads and our infamous tribute relic guitars and relic guitar kits.
