Replacement Relic Necks

There is a lot more that distinguishes a vintage neck from a modern one: aside from their age and the effects of wear and tear, vintage guitar necks were built in a different fashion, to different specifications, using different materials and finish.

This is why our necks are built using original vintage parts as templates, using as-close-to-possible tooling and always with nitrocellulose. It's the attention to the very smallest details that make our parts unique.

Replacement Relic Bodies

We've been building, servicing, repairing and restoring vintage Fender and Gibson guitars since they were still brand new, so we know what authentic wear marks look like, and how Fender paints age over the years.

As a result you can not only expect amazing tone woods (including very high-quality swamp ash and alder) and nitrocellulose finishes, but there won't be anything 'fake' or incorrect about any of the wearing - our aim is for absolute authenticity.

Reproduction Relic Hardware

We supply authentic reproduction hardware for all your vintage and relic guitar needsL from no-line 1950s Kluson mmachienheads/tuners and slot-headed screws for your 1950s broadcaster, to authentic Pat. Pend. stamped synchronized tremolo units, butterfly string trees, and stamped neck plates for your Stratocaster.

With all of our parts coming from original manufacturers where possible, and aged to perfection, our parts are as authentic as the originals.

Bodies, Necks, & Hardware

Our bodies, necks, and hardware are vintage-correct and fully compatible with other Fender parts, so whatever you intend to use for the rest of your project guitar, we've got the body and neck.

Only hand-selected quality tone woods make it into our bodies, necks and guitars, offering swamp ash or alder as the two main choices for replacement bodies and maple, rosewood and ebony for our necks.

traditional finishing techniques

Nitrocellulose finishes

No fullerplast undercoats, no polyurethane or derivative fillers. Just 100% vintage nitrocellulose finishes, done the original way by hand, in just the same way they used to finish their bodies in Fullerton during the 1950s and '60s.

Our metallic finishes (Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple Red and Burgundy Mist to name a few) also include a silver undercoat for added authenticity, and it looks great when reliced!
